Kakiya / Kakete-Biki

A kakiya, or kakete-biki, is an old-style Okinawan karate training tool, consisting of a wooden post with a movable arm (usually weighted) for training limb control, muchimidi (sticky hands), and tuidi (seizing hands).  This is a demonstration of Noah Legel “poor man’s” version is just a broomstick attached to a support post with bungee cords.
